Canadian Nomite Goose Down Duvets

Why buy a Canadian Goose Down Duvet made by Die Zudecke? If you have read up on the benefits of goose down, you have surely come across the Die Zudecke brand before. Based in Germany and part of the European RIBECO group and Surrey Down companies here in the UK, they have amassed a reputation for producing high quality duvets and pillows that have been manufactured to strict ethical and environmental standards. No harmful chemicals are used in the washing and drying of the natural down and feather fillings or in the construction of the luxury cotton cambric cases.

The Canadian Goose Down is considered to be one of the very best downs in the world and is reserved for only the most expensive and quality duvets you can buy. The down is so light and fluffy it is normally rated at over 800 fill power, which is very high when the average 100% pure goose down fill power here in the UK is around 600 fill power. The world’s premier down which is the Eider down is around 900 plus, so you can see that it is ranked up there with some the best duvets you can choose. The down is not treated or dyed, so the down is kept in its natural state, which ensures that it will last a lifetime in normal use. The filling is not dyed white like you can get with other fillings, dying the down makes it brittle and will break down over a few years. It also stops it from being thermically efficient, you want the down to store warm air when it is cold and to release trapped warm air when it is too warm. Using chemicals or dyes to change its appearance will stop it from performing at the level required and will shorten its lifespan.

All Die Zudecke Duvets come with a 3 year fully backed guarantee but there are also many other benefits that you get straight away, like the Nomite and the Oeko Tex 100 certification. This ensures that the fillings have been expertly and professional steam cleaned and the cases have been dyed and produced in an ethically and environmentally effective way. Also, new to the range is Downasan, this ensures that only new fillings are used in the duvets, some other companies use recycled down and feathers to fill your duvet. This is the right thing to do when you are producing a high quality duvet, you expect the best and the Die Zudecke brand makes sure that you receive the best quality and comfort every time.
